Originally established in Canberra, Australia in 1992, Snezhinka Samoyeds is a small kennel now located in the Ponsonby suburb of Auckland, New Zealand.

Snezhinka translates to "snowflake" in Russian and was selected to tie in with the place of origin of the Samoyed Breed - the harsh tundras of Siberia.

Julia has owned Samoyeds since 1985 however only commenced breeding and showing in 1992.   Snezhinka Samoyeds was re-registered in New Zealand in 2005 after becoming active again in the showring in New Zealand in late 2004, with the arrival of Merlin.  Merlin is now a New Zealand and Australian champion; he has champion progeny in Australia, and more recently his first New Zealand progeny have hit the ground.

Snezhinka is not an active breeding kennel, we strive to select, own and in the future breed.....
