Aust Ch Snezhinka Czar Jazz, Jazz, was the pup kept from Zsa's only litter.  Jazz is a gentle, loving boy who snores when he sleeps and nudges anyone for pats or bait in their pockets at shows.  He is our big bear who would stay inside 24 hours a day if he could and snooze.  Never an excitable or energetic dog, Jazz has won over hearts in all that he has done.

When Jazz was just 3 months old, Ray Dean the owner of Jazz's sire Aust Gr Ch Amundsen Hot Pursuit, encouraged us to enter Jazz in his first show.  The first show was the NSW Samoyed Speciality Show in Sydney where Jazz had a spectacular debut, picking up Baby Puppy in Show from 7 babies.  Jazz attained his Australian Champion Title while still a Junior and went on to amass numerous BOB, BPOG, POG, JOG, IOG, Best of Group and Consolation to Best in Show at All Breeds Championship Level.

With his exquisite head he also won almost every head stakes class he entered during his show career.  Jazz was only shown up until just over the age of 3 years due to Jules' work commitments and therefore retired well before his prime to a life of a couch potato.

His lovely nature lead him to being selected as a special Pets As Therapy Dog in Melbourne where he reached the highest accreditation which saw him plucked out of visiting nursing homes to visit the special AIDS and Cancer wards of the Alfred Hospital.  Since moving to Auckland, Jazz has taken up the SPCA/St John Outreach Pets Therapy Programme and is back visiting nursing homes to bring joy and brighten the day of the residents.

Jazz has some quirky traits such as loving to chase splashes from stones thrown into the waves, hunting for finished toilet roll cores and craving spicy Indian or Thai food.  He doesn't get fazed by anything and is our solid rock to depend upon and now Merlin's best mate.
